Our journey began from our humble home, which later laid the foundation for bigger dreams. It was after a hearty family lunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon while we were  rummaging through an old chest when Pandora’s box flew open. Precious memories of our family unfolded and so did my mother’s wedding saree which we had seen several times during our childhood. Back then its relevance didn’t strike us, but now, years later, it felt different because this time we were seeing it as women. It looked beautiful, graceful, and had a commanding presence. This is where we decided to introduce to the new generation the exclusivity and magnificence of pure handloom banarasi sarees and started to explore the grandeur of vintage Indian handloom and silks. Thus, Devissha was born.

Depending upon the complexities, it can take somewhere between 15 days to 6 months to complete a saree in its full glory before it reaches your trousseau.
